I totally agree with you about the difficulties for professors in accommodating various types of learning styles. I think it gets more complicated when the courses are online. I do remember from high school that my teacher used to have a fixed style across different classes, and I was not comfortable with that. Her style solely focused on Numbers and percentages, but I wanted to understand the context and info before giving tests. As per the posted lecture by Joshua on YouTube for module 4, saying that learning is all about growth.
I think having multiple means of engagement, especially in Universities where every student comes from a different background, has different learning styles, helps the students to learn more effectively.
